How can add a new perl file extension?

How can I add a new perl file extension?
I want to add extension opl (file with this extension contains perl script like .pl script).

Currently, I can not debug this file and syntax checking.
Also, editor doesn't display syntax colors (layout).

Answer:
Yes, find the files "parsers.xml" and "File Dialog Filters.txt" were you installed optiperl, and edit them. Then restart optiperl.
