Perl5lib ignored

I store my custom modules in my own directory, and set the PERL5LIB environmental variable to include this directory.

Unfortunately, debug ignores this and states that it can't locate my modules. However, I can happily run the code (using F9), although OptiPerl's error checking (F5) flags the module as not being found.

Can we get OptiPerl to recognise externally set PERL5LIB paths? This is not a CGI app, so I'm not worried about tainting etc.
